A peek inside Hampton Court Palace

So many pictures but I loved every single room in the Palace so it was unfair to pick only a few. Stepping into the rooms and gardens was like being alive in medieval times. From Henry VIII's Kitchens to The Great Hall everything is magical. I think I did not manage to visit everything. I didn't get to the maze, although I find it nice my only interest would be taking a picture of its view from above which is impossible, so I don't regret not seeing it. Therefore I recommend you to visit it. I wanted to be one of Henry's wives and spend my life wondering around such splendid palace wearing beautiful dresses and going to the chapel.

  11. 40 years ago in 1975 i went on a school trip with my classmates and teacher to hampton court, i jumped on king henry the eighths bed i got in a lot of trouble but now i have the pleasure and satisfaction of knowing i jumped on a kings bed at the tender age of 6 i was too young to be arrested so i got away with a crime and what makes it worse is that i am black um i guess it made them a bit mad or angry when they saw what i did i saw the way my teacher was talking to the guards they were talking about me all day apologizing every 5 minutes i'm sorry for her behaviour my teacher would blush and say at one point she wanted to leave me in the coach until the trip was over instead she got held of my hand all over the castle until the trip was over she did not let me go up stairs To go and see the pretty paintings on the walls i have to wait downstairs with another teacher while the rest of the class went on i don't care the most important bit was that i got on his bed and then she had the cheek to ask me was his bed hard or soft and all i could say is it was hard i suppose the king had a bad back definitely orthopaedic mattress or it was made of stone but it was not a comfortable bed at all and i remember all the dust coming out of it when i jumped on it a big pile of white smoke like it never been cleaned in its life
