Can I be fixed?

The radio plays a song from the film '1408'. I like the song, but it always reminds me of that film. And that is not a nice film to be thinking of at night time. I'm not scared anyway. I'm just lying on my bed in a really uncomfortable position. I've got only one pillow and my hands burn as I touch them on the overheated laptop which is placed on a cushion over my lap. I have just finished watching a film called'Just Friends'. And I can't sleep. It has just stopped raining, Unfortunately. Besides staring at this screen for the whole night I drink coffee. Okay I just decided to talk about my day now. Sorry! but I want to, read it if you want to.

I went to the hospital in the morning with my mother. She went to get her mamography results. Hopefully everything is fine with her. But while we were waiting to see the doctor. I heard a talk between the doctor and some patient's relatives. They were crying, and I heard them saying something regarding to Chemotherapy. It was a really sad thing to see. Specially because it was in the pediatric section. That made me want to live my life in a intense way. Besides I just finished reading the book called 'Before I fall'. Dying young is actually sad. So I will definetely stop complaining about my life! (at least for a while.) I guess I feel positive today.

  1. Haha i had the same feeling when i heard the not-very-good news about my health. That night i started making a list of 10 things i would do before i die, basically just simple stuff like learning to drive, get a job and make money or play a musical instrument. I was depressed for weeks and had to find a way to communicate with people in order to make myself forget about it. But after a while i kind of changed my mood to happy, cheerful, positive and suddenly it's like i have a motivation for life in general.
It's just my story. I like that photo, and the collar, very vintage :)

  4. I've seen the movie. Is simply magnificent. What your mother, I hope it's nothing, and this good. The other day a friend and I started talking about death, and how awful it would die at fifteen. We also thought we wanted to be remembered. The two as heroes.

  6. You have to stay positive all the time. Sometimes it's hard, somedays are just so.. Akward or something. With nothing else than lay on your bed and stare at nothing. And still, be p o s i t i v e. The text you wrote about the hospital, is really beautiful. It represents the meaning of the importance of life (or something, haha).

  7. you shouldn't really put a laptop on a cushion. well, as long as the vents are not obscured it may be ok, but it just helps to make it hotter--it's better to let air circulate underneath it. If you win the lottery you should get a laptop with a solid state drive (like the Macbook Air), 'cause their are no moving parts and less heat is generated. Until then, get a proper laptop tray/pad (or is that what you meant by 'cushion'?). You can even get ones with cooling fans:

  8. I agree, Sometimes we (people) don't realize how fragile life actually it is we take for guarantee that we are going to live forever and we spend a lot of time complaining insted of just enjoying the right present moment, no yesterday, no tomorrow just now :) .Beautiful little story and photo. x
