Around my wrist

I made this mini journal to write down college notices. It's really pratical.
Okay now I'm savouring my favourite vanilla wafers from coffee nero. They are so gooood. I might get a tea and watch some film now. By the way I was wondering with you guys could help me with something once I totally considered and value your comments and sugestions. So I have to start working on my portfolio for uni, and I wanted to know if you guys reckon I should take and work on a new serie of photographs or simply use the ones I got. Tell me what you think? :)

  1. i think you could probably use the ones you already have. :) however, new photos are always lovely! if you're inspired and have time, you might as well do a new series. if you're not happy with the results (although, i can't see why you wouldn't be!), you have your other photos as a backup.

    lovely little journal!

  2. I really like the pictures you have in your flickr, but personally I would take new ones even if you don't end up using the new ones you will probably have a ton of fun taking them. I always love taking new pictures.

  5. Hello darling,

You should include both; it's important to show previous work, but they would be very interested to see work in progress, ideas that you have at the moment, no matter how rough they are.

Hope that helps! I graduated from Fine Art a couple of years ago and also took part in interviewing prospective student x

  9. great :)
and i can't really help you - it's your decision! it's important to be satisfied with your work and proud of your portfolio. so if you have lots of photos you're proud of, then it's okay to take the old ones. but if you don't really feel comfortable with your old photos, then it's better to take new ones.

PS: if i were you, i would definitely be proud of some old photos :)

  10. I have a similar journal and it goes everywhere with me. yours is much more adorable though :)

As for your portfolio, use work you are most proud of. And remember that although variety is good, and suggested, its also important for there to be some cohesiveness to the entire arrangement. It allows for whoever is looking at it a better understanding of who you are and the quality of your ability and imagination. Good luck! I'm sure the end result will be wonderful! :)

  17. Qual é o seu curso?
Acho que você poderia usar muitas fotos do teu flickr, mas nada te impede de colocar uma série de novas fotografias junto. O portfolio precisa ter algum tema? Se não precisar, fica tudo mais fácil =D
